She wanted something that would impress his friends.

So she got him a beautiful little travel humidor, with a Carpathian Elm burl lid insert and wavy Redwood frame and lid. Approximately 9" x 12" x 2" deep.

Carathian Elm burl works particularly well with the wavy Redwood grains. There's enough light area in the Elm to offer a nice contrast between the insert and the rest of the humidor. There's also enough red in the burls to meld with the Redwood overall.
