He got several whistles and bells...

Dividers, nameplate, keyed lock, built-in humidifier... just about everything. But it goes back to the wood.

This humidor is a desktop model, and was a little bit smaller than normal. The overall size came out to about eleven by fifteen by about seven inches deep. But he liked the look of the wavy-grained Redwood. It's a real advantage when you can see the wood I use before I start on it. The lid insert is a beautiful piece of wavy-grained Walnut. It has a satin varnish finish.

I built the humidifier into the bottom on this one. I don't normally do the desktop models that way, because it's best to remove the cigars before recharging the humidifier. That's no problem in a travel humidor, where I routinely build the humidifier into the bottom. But it can be a bit cumbersome to do that in a humidor that holds a hundred-plus cigars. However, it was his humidor, not mine.

I always build what YOU want...
