Okay, okay, I couldn't resist...I was in Home Depot(yea, Home Depot), cruising the lumber aisle(hey, stop staring--doesn't everybody do that?) and saw this raggedy-assed beat-up 2 x 4 on the back of a stack of construction-grade Redwood. Well, I thought at first glance it was beat up. Turns out it was a piece of the tightest "tiger-stripe" lumber I'd ever seen. After I cured it, I was able to make THREE upright humidors out of it. |

This particular humidor is the six inch diameter upright model. The upper and lower frame is constructed of this tiger-striped Redwood, and pretty much speaks for itself. It's one of the first upright humidors I made, and I couldn't part with the last of its line. So now it sits in the china cabinet. I keep my '65 Padrons in it. And I get offers on it. But sorry. It's taken... |
