Have a very busy doc that just bought a boat, and needed something classy to go with the trim inside the cabin. He also needed something that would keep his cigars in optimum smoking condition over the long term. That's why he called me.
This particular humidor is the six inch diameter upright model. The upper and lower frame is constructed of wavy-grained Redwood; a rarity in itself. But the lid insert... it's solid Redwood burl. Imagine a tree that's been around two-thousand years. About fourteen-hundred years ago, a savage tried to hack off a piece to make a spear. The tree repaired the gouge, of course, but the grain was messed up at that spot. Hence, the incredible burl pattern on this piece of wood...
So Doc's got a humidor that's like no other in the world -- not even close. With the built-in humidifier in the bottom, the UV-rated cast acrylic tube side, and the Spanish Cedar lid liner and liftout tray, he knows that if he doesn't get to his boat every month, his cigars will still be waiting on him... ready to light up and enjoy.
